Over the last 20 years, she has held leadership positions in the entertainment, corporate, information technology and counseling fields. In addition to her professional experience, she also lives out her life’s vocational calling as an ordained minister. Marcus Price, MDiv., MSW, LCSW

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Marcus relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2012 to attend The Interdenominational Theological Center, where he pursued his studies in the Psychology of Religion and Pastoral Care earning his Master of Divinity degree in 2016. His passion for holistic care led him to serve as a spiritual care provider completing two residencies at Emory University Midtown Hospital and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta earning twelve units of Clinical Pastoral Education. Marcus later continued expanding his expertise by earning a Master of Social Work degree from Smith College School for Social Work, with a concentration in clinical social work practice. Since then, he has focused on working with couples, individuals and families, addressing a wide range of life challenges with empathy and skill. Marcus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained in psychodynamic/analytic psychotherapy, and specializes in helping clients explore and uncover the deeply unconscious emotions, needs, and vulnerabilities that underlie persistent, unsatisfactory patterns in efforts to unblock themselves and find a way forward. He is currently pursuing further training at Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute and is a committed lifelong learner dedicated to increasing his professional knowledge and skill set. In 2023, Marcus founded Seed & Oak Counseling, a practice in heart of Decatur, Georgia primarily serving couples and individuals navigating relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety and depression and host of other challenges.
