Dr. Nicole Z. Robertson, MDiv, LCPC, NCC
GuestDr. Nicole Z. Robertson is the Director and Assistant Professor of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Christian Theological Seminary. Dr. Roberston is a licensed clinical professional counselor, a nationally certified counselor, and has over ten years of experience working in community mental health agencies, non-profit agencies, and in private practice providing clinical counseling services to primarily individual clients. Along with her administrative and teaching roles at CTS, Dr. Robertson supervises students in their clinical experiences as they work to address clients holistically, attending to clients’ spiritual, emotional, psychological, and physical needs. Dr. Robertson work experience also extends outside of the realms of academia and counseling, prior to her transition into the mental healthcare profession, she was employed as an Information Technology (IT) professional for over 15 years in the food manufacturing industry. Additionally, Dr. Robertson is an ordained minister in the Baptist church affiliated with the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., and holds a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Practical Theology.
